Parents often ask us what makes Stage Door different.

The answer isn’t found in a schedule, a costume, or a performance.

It’s found in the moments that happen between them.

The student who finally raises their hand.
The dancer who learns to trust themselves.
The performer who finds their voice.
The friendships formed in the lobby and the confidence built in the studio.

Those moments are why we do what we do.

As we look ahead to Fall, we’re excited to continue creating a place where students are encouraged to grow, take risks, and discover what they’re capable of.

Our Fall Season begins August 17th, and registration is officially open.

Whether your child is returning for another season or discovering Stage Door for the first time, we encourage families to register early. Many of our classes have enrollment caps because we intentionally keep class sizes smaller, allowing students to receive personalized instruction, meaningful feedback, and individual attention from their teachers.

As classes fill, we will begin waitlists, so securing your spot early is the best way to ensure your child gets into their preferred classes.

We also understand that every child is different and finding the right class can sometimes feel overwhelming. If you have questions about class options, placement recommendations, or what program might be the best fit for your child, please reach out. We are always happy to help.

One of the things families appreciate most about Stage Door is our flexibility. We know life gets busy, vacations happen, and schedules change. If your child misses class, we offer and encourage make-up classes so they can stay engaged, continue progressing, and get the most out of their experience.

Mondays | 6:30 PM & 7:30 PM

One of our most exciting additions this season is Open Movement with Chelsea.

From August through January, dancers will explore a different style each week including jazz, contemporary, hip hop, and more. This format helps students become adaptable, versatile performers while refining their movement quality across multiple styles.

Beginning in January, the focus shifts to Composition, where students will learn the foundations of choreography including musicality, structure, spacing, dynamics, and improvisation.

Students will create original movement, collaborate with peers, and develop the confidence to share their own artistic ideas.

This class is perfect for dancers who want to become not just stronger movers, but stronger creative thinkers.

Saturdays | 9:00 AM

Fusion is designed for dancers ages 9–18 who want to become well-rounded, versatile performers.

Students will train in a variety of styles including jazz, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop, and more while developing technique, coordination, musicality, and performance quality.

Through center work, across-the-floor progressions, and choreography, dancers will learn how different styles connect and complement one another.

This is a high-energy class that encourages creativity, adaptability, and confidence.

Our summer camps have been filled with laughter, creativity, new friendships, and plenty of fun.
