As we head into the final stretch of our Spring season, there is a lot happening both in and out of the studio. Students are locked in on choreography, confidence is building, and we’re simultaneously preparing for summer programs and next season opportunities.
Meet Our New Tap Instructor: Charlie Maybee
We’re excited to welcome Charlie Maybee to the Stage Door team.
Charlie is a professional tap dancer and instructor with a strong focus on rhythm, musicality, and performance. His classes are high-energy and music-driven, helping dancers build clean technique while developing their own style and confidence.
Tap is one of the fastest ways to improve timing, coordination, and overall performance quality. If your child has never taken it, this is the time.

We are officially building our Stage Door Collective competitive dance team, and auditions are coming up.

Class Placement Recommendations Coming Soon
Over the next few weeks, we will be sharing summer and fall class placement recommendations for each student.
These recommendations are based on what we are seeing in class and are meant to help students continue growing in the environment that will best support their progress, confidence, and goals.
We’re excited to help guide each dancer into a successful next season at Stage Door.
Final Thought
We’re at such an exciting point in the season, and it’s been incredible to watch the growth happening in the studio. The confidence, effort, and progress from our students is something we’re really proud of.
As we head toward the stage, consistency will help each dancer feel prepared and truly enjoy the experience. We’re here to support them every step of the way and can’t wait to see all of their hard work come to life at the performance.
